1. Do you do a set-up on every ukulele?

Yes, watch our full free set-up process video below.ย 

2. Can you swap out the High G for a Low G on my ukulele purchase?

Yes, just select the Free Low G conversion from the Add-On menu and we'll take care of it. Also, if the uke comes with a Low G and you'd prefer a High G just mention it in the notes when you order and we'll take care of it.

3. How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE for all orders over $149 for the continental United States. For orders under $149 the shipping charge is automatically calculated when you enter your address on the checkout page.

4. Why are you not open on Sunday?

Family time.

5. What is your return policy?

Our return policy is 7 days from the time you receive it. Basically, if you don't like it when you receive it send it back for a refund minus the 5% restocking fee.

6. Why is there a restocking fee?

We offer a FREE set-up and FREE shipping on all ukuleles, that comes at a cost to us. The 5% restocking fee covers some of that cost.

7. Should I add a strap button to my ukulele?

Yes, I find it much easier to play with a strap than without one. Watch our ukulele strap video below.ย 

8. Why are your showroom hours so limited?

Most of our business comes from online orders so we are really open 24 hours. The showroom is open Mon-Sat from 11-4 which gives people a chance to come here 6 days a week.

9. Can you put the strings I just purchased on my new ukulele?

Yes, just mention in the notes section that you'd like to have your uke set up with the purchased strings and we'll take care of it. We don't assume that just because you bought strings that you want them put on. Someย  people like to purchase extra strings to have or they might be for another uke thatย they have.

10. Do you ship outside of the United States?

Yes, the shipping charge is automatically calculated when you enter your address on the checkout page. Please note that any customs fees are not included in the price, you have to check with your country's customs office to find out what the fees are.

11. Do you offer ukulele lessons?

We don't do lessons here but we do have a list of local teachers that you can connect with under the lessons tab.

13. Is a certain ukulele solid wood or laminate?

It will always say Solid in the description of the uke if it is solid wood. If it doesn't say Solid, it's laminate.

14. Do you do repairs?

Yes, we do all kinds of repairs. Our experienced technicians have many years of experience.

15. Do you install pickups?

Yes, any of the products on our pickup page can be installed in your uke. The installation fee is $55 and must be added when purchasing a uke and a pickup. The install process takes 2-3 days.

16. Do you buy used ukes or do consignment deals?

We don't do consignment deals but we do buy pre-loved ukuleles. The best thing to do is email us some picturesย and a description of the condition and we can send you an offer. You can send your inquiries to info@alohacityukes.com

17. What carrier do you use to ship?

We like to ship via UPS (sometimes FedEx) as they have proven to be the most reliable. If it's a shipment going to Hawaii, Alaska, or another country it will most likely ship via USPS.

18. Where is the tracking info for my string order?

Strings ship via regular U.S. mail so there is no tracking. Please allow 10 days to pass before contacting us about not receiving your string order. Thanks.ย 

19. Do you price match?

Depends, if you send us a link (info@alohacityukes.com) to the productย  listed somewhere else we'll take a look and see if we can match it. Please keep in mind that we also provide free shipping and free set-up which a lot of other places charge for, so please factor that in before asking. Thanks.ย
